Hirudoid is indicated for localized inflammatory processes such as: purple spots that appear after trauma or contusions, or after surgery; inflammation in superficial veins, after injecting medicines into a vein or puncture of a vein to take blood tests. It is also indicated to assist in the treatment of: varicose veins in the thighs and legs (without open wounds); inflammation of the lymph vessels or lymph nodes (lymphangitis or lymphadenitis) which occurs, for example, in erysipelas; boils and mastitis in the breasts.
