Paracetamol is indicated in adults for the reduction of fever and for the temporary relief of mild to moderate pain, such as: pain associated with common colds, headache, body pain, toothache, back pain, muscle pain.
Paracetamol reduces fever by acting on the temperature regulating center in the Central Nervous System (CNS) and decreases sensitivity to pain. Its effect begins 15 to 30 minutes after oral administration and lasts for a period of 4 to 6 hours.
